Responsibilities

Du interagierst tagtäglich mit unseren Kunden – den Geschäftsführern kleiner und mittlerer Unternehmen oder Entscheidern im Enterprise Segment
Du berätst in vielen Aspekten des Datenschutzes, widmest dich juristischen und – bei Eignung sowie Interesse – auch technischeren Themen
Du wirst zum geprüften DSB zertifiziert, falls eine Zertifizierung noch nicht vorliegt
In unserem interdisziplinären DSB-Team lernst du von erfahrenen DSBs, verfolgst die deutsche/österreichische und europäische Rechtsprechung, und arbeitest eigenverantwortlich auf deinen Kundenprojekten
Du unterstützt die Customer Support sowie Product-Engineering Abteilungen bei der Umsetzung von Feedback deiner Kunden
Bei Interesse und Eignung darfst du dich proaktiv einbringen bei der Weiterbildung unerfahrener KollegInnen im Rahmen von z.B. Schulungsreihen
Du bewegst dich bei DataGuard in einem spannenden Rechtsfeld, das Gesetzgeber und Gerichte in den nächsten Jahren stark prägen werden

Profile

Muss:

Relevante datenschutzrechtliche Berufserfahrung, inhouse oder aus einer Beratungsperspektive
Leistungsbereitschaft. Urteilsvermögen. Aufgeschlossen für Neues. Hands-on Mentalität
Kompetent, zuvorkommend und professionell im Umgang mit Kunden und KollegInnen
Gute Englischkenntnisse. Weitere Fremdsprachenkenntnisse von Vorteil

Ideal:

Studienabschluss mit rechtlichem Schwerpunkt (z.B. Wirtschaftsrecht) oder technischem Hintergrund (Wirtschafts-/ Informatik)
Qualifizierte/r Datenschutzbeauftragte/r
Vertiefte EDV-/Technologiekenntnisse
Branchenkenntnisse (z.B. Industrie, Gesundheit, Kirche)

Wir bieten für diese Position ein marktkonformes Bruttojahresgehalt von min. EUR 50.000, je nach konkreter Qualifikation.

Responsibilities

You interact with our customers on a daily basis - the CEOs of small and medium-sized enterprises or decision-makers in the enterprise segment
You will provide advice on many aspects of data protection, legal and - if suitable and interested - also more technical topics
You will be certified as a certified DPO, if a certification is not yet available
In our interdisciplinary DPO team you will learn from experienced DPOs, follow German/Austrian and European case law, and work independently on your customer projects
You will support the Customer Support and Product Engineering departments in the implementation of feedback from your customers
If you are interested and suitable, you can proactively contribute to the further training of inexperienced colleagues, e.g. in the context of training series
At DataGuard, you will work in an exciting legal field that will have a strong influence on legislators and courts in the coming years

Profile

Must:

Relevant professional experience in data protection law, in-house or from a consulting perspective
Willingness to perform. Judgment. Open-minded to new ideas. Hands-on mentality
Competent, courteous and professional in dealing with clients and colleagues
Good command of English. Other foreign language skills an advantage

Ideal:

Degree with legal focus (e.g., business law) or technical background (business/computer science).
Qualified data protection officer
In-depth IT/technology knowledge
Industry knowledge (e.g., industry, health, church)

We offer a gross annual salary in line with the market of at least EUR 53,000 for this position, depending on the specific qualifications.
