Your tasks

You advise and support our clients on any and all data protection subjects, combining your expertise with use of our proprietary platform
You will continuously educate our clients on data protection regulations and compliance requirements, keeping all stakeholders up to date with data protection laws
You will recommend and deliver the measures required for our clients to implement their individual compliance programme using the DataGuard platform as their single source of truth
You will be responsible for developing and implementing data protection policies, procedures and guidelines for clients
You will conduct data protection impact assessments and risk assessments for clients' data processing activities.
You enjoy sharing your knowledge with others and act as a role model and mentor for less experienced colleagues in the team
You will contribute to the continuous development of our products and business as we continue our drive to deliver excellence to our clients

Profile

Competent, courteous and professional in dealing with customers and colleagues
Thorough knowledge of UK and EU GDPR, and the Data Protection Act
At least 5 years of professional experience in delivering data protection law and regulations
Excellent communication skills
Qualified Data Protection Officer, preferably CIPP/E and/or CIPM
State examination or comparable degree with a legal focus (business law) or technical background (business/information technology)
Willingness to perform. High degree of independence. Open-minded for new things. Hands-on mentality.

Responsibilities

Dank unserer Machine Learning Platform kannst du dich auf die interessanten Aufgaben fokussieren: Die Geschäftsleitung beraten, mit Behörden kommunizieren, die aktuelle Gesetzeslage verfolgen, neue datenschutzrechtliche Konzepte entwickeln und bei Datenpannen zeitnahe Beratung geben. Die Maschine eliminiert hier nicht den Menschen – ganz im Gegenteil: Unsere Plattform unterstützt dich und ermöglicht es dir sowohl kleinen als auch großen Kunden eine ausgezeichnete Betreuung zu bieten – und dort Positives zu bewirken. Es steht dir frei, verschiedene Branchen zu betreuen oder dich auf einen Themenkomplex (z.B. AVV, Datenschutzerklärungen oder Mitarbeiterschulungen) zu spezialisieren. Gleiches gilt hinsichtlich deutscher bzw. österreichischer oder internationaler Kunden. Kundenbesuche stellen dabei die Ausnahme dar – du arbeitest hauptsächlich aus dem Wiener Büro, gelegentlich und flexibel von Zuhause (oder zum Onboarding bzw. Teamevents aus dem Headquarter in München, Deutschland).

Profile

Muss:

Studienabschluss mit rechtlichem Schwerpunkt (z.B. Jura, Wirtschaftsrecht) oder technischem Hintergrund (z.B. Informatik)
Leistungsbereitschaft. Urteilsvermögen. Aufgeschlossen für Neues. Hands-on Mentalität.
Kompetent, zuvorkommend und professionell im Umgang mit Kunden und Kollegen.
Mehrjährige datenschutzrechtliche Berufserfahrung.
Gute Englischkenntnisse. Weitere Fremdsprachenkenntnisse von Vorteil.

Ideal:

Qualifizierte/r Datenschutzbeauftragte/r.
Vertiefte EDV-/Technologiekenntnisse.
Branchenkenntnisse (z. B. Industrie, Gesundheit, Kirche).

Wir bieten für diese Position ein marktkonformes Bruttojahresgehalt von min. EUR 60.000, je nach konkreter Qualifikation.
